About Me

My photo
I'm a junior in high school, born and bred in New England. Attending prep school, maybe in favor when it comes to college application, but not in the bank! I'm just a girl who loves classic and timeless pieces, and of course everything preppy!

The World Of Jack Rogers.

The world of Jack Rogers has an assortment of shoes, but the best {in my opinion} are their sandals. Jack Rogers offers wedges, but navajos {shown above} are so pretty. They can be dressed up or down and they are super comfortable! Priced at just over $100.00 these sandals will last a lifetime with the rich leather, signature whipstitching and rondelles! The navajos comes in all sorts of colors, you can even get them monogrammed :) I would definitely recommend checking out your nearest shoe store like Nordstrom to check out the hype!

Francesca Joy.

I have been on the search for a perfect tote for school. My long champ was getting ruined, and quite frankly i love that bag too much for it to be thrown around in school! In my travels i found this beautiful artist Elise Francesca. Not only is she from Rhode Island and attended RISD {just miles from my town} but she hand-paints her very own collections, wristlets and everything you can imagine. You can even email Elise and buy a custom painted tote just for you! When i first saw the prices i was a bit taken back, the tote above is $145.00, when then i compared it to my long champ that was around $150.00 and thought this tote is hand-painted so much prettier and it's from RI! I'm currently saving up, but i heard there is a sale coming up soon!

The totes are made from the same material as L.L Bean's Boat and Tote but with the hand-painted {even custom} design they are so much better! You can purchase Elise products on her Esty.

P.S I'll post when Francesca Joy has their Valentine Sale :)

Kiel James Patrick.

Kiel James Patrick. Not only a handsome face to drool over {ladies, he has a beautiful girlfriend!} but a timeless style, dream, and brand! Not to bore you with history, but his products are made in good ole' Rhode Island, which some of you may not know, but is where i am from. Even more the reason to love his products! Patrick's designs are "inspired by classic New England Style" and "KJP products are 100% USA Made". What's not to love? These quality, timeless products don't come cheap though...accessories range from $30-50+. Talk about burning a hole in your pocket... One thing I will say is though i may be {completely} broke, one thing i don't mind doing with the money i have is saving it up, and spending it on quality products that will last me a life time. And the Kiel James Patrick brand is exactly that.

Dear 16-year-old Me

Being sixteen and almost 100% Irish this video really hit home. So many teens lay out in the hot summer sun with no protection, and even more lay in tanning beds. Please watch this video and become informed.

Warning: You may cry from the beauty and message of this video

Do It Yourself: Yucky Heels

Whoever said diamonds were a girls best friend was wrong, heels are! They make your legs appear to be long and lean, what's there not to love? Actually, I take that last sentence back {and probably the first one too ahha} what i don't like is when my favorite heels start to become all gross and ratty. Luckily, this blog post will help you fix just that problem. And this is all you need...

  • Glitter
  • Mod Podge {Click to find out how to make your own}
  • Paint Brush
  • Paper Plater
  • and of course....a pair of heels
And here is what to do...
  1. Pour some mod podge on the paper plate
  2. Pour enough glitter in the mod podge to make a nice glittering paste
  3. Take your paint brush and carefully go over the heel
  4. Allow the heels to dry and voila!

Hope with helps some of you!

The Vitals: Prep Guide

I personally love little pictures like this that help you get the basics of something. It's convenient having all of the basics in one place on one little picture.

Wishful Thinking: Kate Spade

Oh, if only money wasn't an object...i'd be living in Paris, eating LadrĂ©e macaroons, dressed from head to toe in nothing but Kate Spade. Kate's designs are extremely adorable and fun to say the least, but very expensive. Luckily for you girls that live near Outlets that have Kate Spade you can score some great deals! I once get $78.00 clip on earrings for only ten bucks!

Do you like Kate Spade? What's your favorite product from her? Comment below.
